Tattoo in Photoshop

Like Tattoos? You can apply them to any image in a few steps in Photoshop.

Step 1 : First we have find the tattoos. Search tattoos+flash in Google Search. You will find them.Or click here to be taken directly to the page and download a few templates. I have opened this image and a downloaded template. I will apply the template to the face.

Step 2 : Drag the template till it covers the face.

Step 3 : The tattoo template now covers the face.

Step 4 : Now change the Blend mode to Multiply.

Step 5 : This is how the image looks like after changing the Blend Mode to Multiply.

Step 6 : Click the Layer Mask Button. See above where it is. As soon as you click it a Layer Mask will form. See above.

Step 7 : Ensure that the Foreground Color is set to Black. Then click on the Brush Tool.

Step 8 : With the Brush Tool paint away the overlapping part of the Tattoo layer. If you make a mistake with the Brush Tool change the Foreground color to White and paint away the mistake. Then again set the Foreground color to Black and continue painting.

Step 9 : Click the Zoom Tool. You can zoom in and out by clicking on the '+' and '-' signs next to the zoom tool at the top.

Step 10 : I have zoomed in on the eye. The tattoo covers it. That will not do. See Step 7 and Step 8 and brush away the tattoo there.

Step 11 : I have brushed away the tattoo covering the eye. Clean up the other eye, lips and the hairbrow in the same way.

Step 12 : The eyes, hairbrow and lips have been cleaned up with the Brush Tool. But the tattoos don't look right. They are too dark. That has to be fixed.

Step 13 : Just lower the Opacity by dragging the slider to the left (see above).

Here is the tattooed face. The tattoo can be applied to any part of the body. I did not have a suitable image. Have a nice day.
I've posted another tutorial on tattoo. And, I've used a lady's back to do it.
