Text in Photoshop - Part 3

This is the third part of the Photoshop Text Tutorial. The second part is here.

Step 1 : Choose the font, size and color and type out your text.
Step 2 : Click the Type Tool.
Step 3 : Click where the red arrow points to in the top panel.
Step 4 : Click where the arrow points to. It will reveal a dropdown window.

Step 5 : You can see the drop down window. These are to give warp effects to text. Click 'Arc' the first one.

Step 6 : The 'Arc' warp style has been chosen. Click ok.

Step 7 : The text has been warped in an arc.

Step 8 : You can use the Move Tool to move the text anywhere you want to.
Step 9 : I have clicked on another warp - 'Shell Lower'. Let us see the effect.
Step 10 : This is the effect. (I have changed the color and the font also).

Step 11 : Now note that each of the warp effects can be manipulated by dragging the sliders highlighted in yellow. You can manipulate 'Bend', 'Horizintal Distortion' and 'Vertical Distortion'.

Step 12 : I have played around with the sliders. Please experiment too for your effect and see what is to your liking. Then click ok.

Step 13 : This is the effect I got.

Step 14 : This is the 'Flag' warp. I have left the other settings unchanged. Experiment and you willbe amazed at the effects. The fourth part is here.
