Text in Photoshop - Part 2

This is the second part of the Photoshop Text Tutorial. The first part is here.


Step 1 : After you have added text it is possible to change the font size or even the font.
Step 2 : Left click and drag your cursor over the letters from left to right. And you will find that it is highlighted in black.

Step 3 : The font currently is 80 points.

Step 4 : I have changed the font size to 130 pts, by entering 130 in the box.

Step 5 : The text style I had chosen was Impact. I will now change it.

Step 6 : I have now changed the style. This particular font is not built into Photoshop. You will find free fonts on the web. This is a free font available on the web. Let us see what change comes about.

Step 7 : The font and its size have changed.

Step 8 : Click the Marquee Tool to get rid of the selection.

Step 9 : The changed font and size.

Step 10 : Now click on the Move Tool.

Step 11 : Clicking on the Move Tool makes the selection around the text show up again.

Step 12 : Press Alt on the keyboard and drag up the top right corner

Step 13 : Use the Move Tool to drag the text wherever you want to place it. Click the Marquee Tool.
Step 14 : This dialogue box opens. Click Apply.

Step 15 : This is the changed and resized font. I will post the third part of the tutorial after this.
